Position: Music Volunteer

Location: West Elk Family Church, Hotchkiss

Ministry: We are in need of someone to lead music on Sunday mornings. We have about 40 people in attendance at our services.

Position: Program Director for Gift Shop

Location: Ponderosa Camp

Ministry: We are in need of someone to operate the gift shop and volunteer in other areas as needed. We are looking for someone who shows concern and compassion for others with a positive Christain attitude.  Position dates are May 18 - August 24, 2015. Ponderosa is a ministry of the Colorado Baptist General Convention.

Position: Church Strengtheners

Location: Mid Valley Church, Carbondale, CO

Ministry: Develop and implement outreach events in the local community. The focus can be children, youth or young adults. There is also a need for senior adult ministry. The applicant must be willing to spend time within the community to build relationships.

Housing can be provided.

Transportation is available.

Carbondale is a tourist community located close to Aspen, CO.

Position: Evangelism Mobilizer

Location: Royal Gorge Baptist Association, Pueblo, CO

Ministry: Partner with the current CMT couple working in Pueblo to share ministry responsibilities. The goal is to encourage churches to work together to bring people to Christ and to develop strategies to help undergird church growth. Position includes working with the event trailer ministry, state fair outreach ministry, Wild Wild West festival outreach, associational VBS ministry and trailer park ministry.

Position: Clothes Closet Coordinator

Location: Walden, CO

Ministry: Walden is a small, remote community of roughly 1,000 residents nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. It's about an hour drive to any city of substantial size. This makes already expensive items even more difficult to afford. This community could really benefit from a clothes closet and used appliance ministry. There's a deep desire to see this ministry become a reality and there are several church members who are willing to work hard to help in any way they can.

Position: Associational Coordinator

Location: Mesa Verde Association/Durango, CO

Ministry: The Associational Coordinator shall serve on the Associational Leadership Team to give direction and input, assist in planning the annual and semi-annual meetings, maintain the resource network of pastors and key church leaders, and be involved in the pastor cluster (support) groups.

Need: Office Staff

Location: Hesperus Camp, Durango, CO

Ministry: Hesperus Camp is a camp/conference/retreat ministry serving the four-corners region of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. They are looking for someone to work in the office to handle the financial areas of accounts payable/receivable and preparing financial reports. Experience in Excel and Quick Books would be a bonus but these skills can be taught. This person may also serve in the dining hall with cooking, inventory/ordering and cleaning. They can attend worship services and be of assistance with the Gold Rush Challenge Course.
